If they were in my class, I’d hold them in detention until they finally learn what it means. Let them experience “Detention” -we ALL do on daily basis. I got ALL summer DC…you may need to be prepared for taking a very, VERY late bus home (to one you were able to choose where it is located!) .WE ARE NOT GIVING UP OUR FIGHT!   Thank You.
