Sometimes you come across a story that makes your struggle seem almost easy in comparison. Tony Sullivan, an Australian, (pictured here in the middle at LA Pride this past weekend, next to our friends John and Shaun, who are also a bi-national couple like us.) has been fighting for immigration equality since before I was born. His husband, Richard, passed away last December after being together since 1975. Unable to legally live in either the US or Australia, they had been fighting every day of their lives to be together for 37 years!
